Well, I understand. They are all feelings I have experienced during my career as an author. And this is why I have set out to develop these writing courses. I know how daunting it is to sit down and to write a book. I know how it feels when your author’s copies arrive. I also know that if the story is in you… it needs to come out! I write because I have to. I need to. I always wanted to be a writer. I cannot imagine a life in which I no longer wrote. In fact, I get somewhat twitchy if I miss a day working on something. In short, writing is totally addictive!

So, you have a story that is burning to get out. You may already have a manuscript, or perhaps you are just starting out with a fledgling idea. My courses are designed to help you take the next leap forward, to help you realise your dream of becoming a published author.

So, why my course? After all, there are many of them out there along with claims of teaching you how to write. Well, to put it plainly, I have a proven track record. I don’t just talk about getting published. I am published. I’ve been a professional writer for 25 years with 43 published titles to my name, both fiction and non-fiction.

I’ve been fortunate enough to grace best-seller lists around the world. My books have been short-listed for awards, I have taught Creative Writing at university level and hold a PhD in the subject. The knowledge you will gain from these courses comes from a career at the ‘coal face’. I know the pitfalls, I know rejection…. and I believe that, with my guidance and your perseverance, you can turn your dreams into reality.
